What Do You Do When Your Pastors Don’t Take Your Advice?
You prayed about it, thought it through, and respectfully shared it with one of your pastors And then nothing changed What should you conclude

I know that much of this is conjecture, but the main point I want to hit home here is this: most of the biblical heroes in the Bible — including Moses, Ruth, Mary, and Jesus Himself — were raised and shaped by the care of their mothers. And that means that the mothers of the Bible are very much heroes of the Bible, as well.
Let’s celebrate the heroism of mothers this Sunday, particularly the ones trying to get their family out of a war zone. Thank God he made mothers, who are some of the strongest human beings on earth.
Over and over, we are reminded of the challenges and blessings that motherhood can bring. If you are a mother — whether biological or not — you have probably experienced your fair share of both!
Sacrificing money, travel and sleep do sound difficult when you don’t have a child yet to weigh the idea out. But the embodied reality of soft cheeks, finger squeezes and early morning snuggles make every struggle worth it.
We must pray, most importantly, for the endurance and faith we will need to make sure the women and children affected by this decision will have the support they need. If we want to end abortion, the Supreme Court battle’s conclusion is just the beginning.
I think most Americans would agree that fighting racism and striving toward a color-blind society, is a worthy goal. But what if the attempts to achieve that goal actually promote the very thing they say they are fighting?
Christians should emulate Christ and pray for them on a regular basis and ask God to forgive them. Instead of condemning and attacking atheists, we should regularly intercede for the mercy of God to triumph over the judgment that they are inflicting on themselves.
The following are my general observations to aid the Church in its quest to restore New Testament patterns.
So it is today with the debate over abortion. The leftist race-baiters are making this into an issue about racial discrimination when, in fact, it is nothing of the sort. It is an issue about the sanctity of life.
All rescinding Roe does is to return the issue to the people to decide, state by state. It is called democracy!
