I spent over 14 years as an Elementary School teacher and counselor. Before the social media surge, I helped create one of the first bullying programs for the largest public school systems in Texas. The latest school massacre was just miles from where my son lives.
The father is also a criminal. He has an apparently lengthy criminal record. His most deadly crime, however, isn’t on his record. His most deadly crime is that he is an absentee father. A father who doesn’t value his child’s life is teaching his child a person’s life isn’t valuable. Seventy-two percent of adolescent murderers are fatherless.
When we look to the Scriptures, it is clear that the Bible describes the humanity of the baby in the womb. This is a child with potential life and destiny ahead, not a clump of cells.
Consequently, the context indicates that true shepherds should protect the flock from the misleading influence of both false shepherds and prophets.
No one wants to restrict peaceful, civil protests in the public arena. But taking that to people’s homes, to their families, is an outrageous — and dangerous — abuse that should be stopped or no one will want to serve in public office.

With each mass shooting by a mentally or socially-disturbed “nutter” using an assault weapon, you can bet the farm that liberal politicians will rush to the scene and piously cover the caskets with a pall of pleas for gun control, as if gun ownership is the problem.
In other words, being obese often leads to premature death. As expressed by the bestselling author Dr. Joel Fuhrman, we are “digging our own graves with forks and knives.” Why on earth would we celebrate that?
A proven way to obliterate one's moral resistance to God is to approach the Savior with this heartfelt request: “Forgive my sins dear Lord. Wash me Jesus with your precious blood.”
