    Pakistani police have raised the death toll from a suicide bombing at a mosque in the northwestern city of Peshawar to 20 killed. They say as many as 96 worshippers were wounded in Monday’s attack. Saddique Khan, a senior police official in Peshawar who gave the latest casualty tolls, says no one has immediately claimed responsibility for the bombing. The Pakistani Taliban have been blamed in similar suicide attacks in the past.

    U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken landed in Israel today, and his visit is being overshadowed by the worst weekend of terror attacks in Israel in a decade. To complicate the visit further, Israel may have carried out a drone strike near a nuclear facility in the Iranian city of Isfahan Sunday.Over the weekend, Israel's Security Cabinet announced a series of tough new measures against Palestinian terrorists and their supporters. Just as Israelis were eating Friday evening's Sabbath meal, a Palestinian gunman open fire in Jerusalem and killed 7 people, wounding 3 others.  The dead ranged in age from 14 to 68, including a couple who tried to help the victims.

    Iran’s Defense Ministry says one of its factories was attacked by drones in the central city of Isfahan. A statement carried by the state-run IRNA news agency says the attack occurred late Saturday and caused minor damage to a rooftop. Iran and Israel have long been engaged in a shadow war that has included covert attacks on Iranian military and nuclear facilities. Israel did not acknowledge carrying out the assault. Meanwhile, state media also reported a fire at an oil refinery near the northern Iranian city of Tabriz, saying one person was injured. It blamed the fire on “wear and tear.” A 5.9 magnitude earthquake also struck nearby, killing three people and injuring over 800 others.

    Israel's Security Cabinet met Saturday night and announced a series of tough new measures against Palestinian terrorists and their supporters. The move follows the worst weekend of terrorist violence in Jerusalem in the past decade. 7 people were killed in the ultra-Orthodox suburb of Neve Yaakov Friday, and two more Israelis were shot near the City of David on Saturday. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the new anti-terror measures include sealing terrorists' homes so the families can no longer live in them and expelling family members who clearly support the acts of the terrorists.
